Duties and Responsibilities of the Employer and Employee
Anatomy of the spine
Risk Assessments using safe principles T.I.L.E.E
Reducing risk and removing hazards
Understanding R.I.D.D.O.R
Safe use of correct equipment
Knowledge of unsafe moves
Correct posture (sit to stand)
Slings - insertion in bed/chair
Hoists - chair to bed transfer
Slide sheets - repositioning in bed
